We have friends that attend furniture auctions to purchase solid wood pieces of furniture. We were fortunate enough to buy this dresser from them before anyone else could snag it away from them. Other than one chipped drawer and needing new hardware, this solid maple dresser was in near perfect condition.

This dresser was a Craigslist bargain find! Every once in a while, there is a piece of furniture that pops up on Craigslist that you just know has the potential to be a really cool project, and this was one of them. Before this dresser, we had never worked on a waterfall dresser, but we will be open to doing many more after this one.

Farm-House Style Dresser
"It was painted an ugly green color, but we could tell that there was potential, and ultimately we are glad that we rolled the dice on it."
This piece of furniture was also available from our auction-attending friends, and we were glad we were able to take it off their hands. It was painted an ugly green color, but we could tell that there was potential, and ultimately we are glad that we rolled the dice on it. This dresser had some amazing drawers with dividers and lots of space. We knew that this would be perfect for someone that lacked space.

Fusion Mineral Paint Dresser
Estate sales can be great places to pick up pieces of furniture at a reasonable price. We found this dresser and another dresser that was identical to it at a local estate sale, so we properly named the dressers the twins. We had a friendly competition where Sydney designed one and Josh designed the other. This is the story of Josh's design, The Classic Grey Dresser.

TWO-TONE CAROLINA FURNITURE DRESSER
We have friends that attend furniture auctions to purchase solid wood pieces of furniture. We were fortunate enough to purchase this dresser from them before anyone else could snag it away from them. We have purchased dressers that demand a particular design (or, in other words, the dresser would not cooperate with our original design), and this was one of those dressers.  However, at the end of the day, the dresser looks fantastic and has become a versatile piece that can function as a buffet or a dresser.

Basset Black and Gold Stencil Dresser
This dresser was in the back of a storage unit at the time that we purchased it. Being that it was a Bassett Furniture dresser, we knew that it had solid bones. The original design of the dresser was pretty modern, so we decided to go with a design that was slightly modern, but that would be an eye-catcher.

Mineral Paint Soap Stone Lane Dresser
This dresser was found in a local garage and was being used as a workbench when we purchased it. There were multiple chips on the dresser, but we knew from the moment that we looked at it that it had a lot of potential to be a showpiece in someone's home once again.

"When deciding on a design, we always consider the dresser's best features to showcase."
